Origin of the episode title[edit]

What guest Emily Gould loves most about cats. Julie loves when they look at you like you're a dummy when THEY are the dummies.

Discussed[edit]

This week's episode features a chat with author EMILY GOULD about cats, controversy, and Natalie Merchant!

Then, Julie recaps ALADDIN and encourages you to spread rumors about the hidden swastikas in its set design, explains why FEED MY FRANKENSTEIN is Cannibal Cop's theme song, speculates as to whether Annette Bening came on to her, and mourns the waste of Jenny McCarthy's fake eyeglasses now that she will no longer be on The View.

Trivia[edit]

  • This episode opens with Julie' rendition of Arthur's Theme, a song popular on 80's pop compilation tape commercials from the 1990s. After singing the line 'He's just he's just a boy', Julie lets out a yuck/eugh sound. This is perhaps in disgust at the infantalisation of the character of Arthur, who is in many ways the embodiment of white male privilege.
  • Julie and Jackie Hoffman's performance of "Brush Up Your Shakespeare" is on YouTube
